When I started our company, I had no idea how much I would truly love it. There are so many reasons why I am so happy I took the leap of faith and started Pacesetters, but here are five of my favorites:
We are open-minded
We're always looking for new and better ways to do things. We are not afraid of change, and we embrace it. If something isn't working well, we don't just keep doing it that way—we try something else. We are always open to ideas from each other, as well as mentors, and other outside parties and we try to always encourage each other to be creative in coming up with solutions that work best for everyone involved.
Everyone has an opportunity to contribute to all projects
One of the best things about our company is that every member of our team has an opportunity to contribute to all projects. We all have a voice in shaping how things work. The result is that everyone feels invested in what we do, which makes for a better work environment!
Communication
Communication is key to a successful business. It's not just my job as the CEO to communicate, but every team member needs to be on the same page. Everyone has their own role in Pacesetters and knows what is expected of them. Communication can happen in many different ways: meetings, phone calls, and emails are just some examples of how we keep everyone informed about what's going on in our company. It's also important for everyone to feel like they have an open line of communication with all of the other members of our team so they don't feel disconnected from the rest of the group or like they're an outsider looking into things that aren't any of their business because if we don't communicate properly then it will be difficult for things to run as efficiently as possible.
Atmosphere
Our company has a very creative, open, and fun atmosphere. We are always talking about new ideas for our content and our client's content and how we can make it better or different from what everyone else is doing. It's great to have such a positive environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself as an individual, and where your ideas will be heard.
Teamwork
This ties back into most of what has already been said. We do our best to always work as a team on every project because we all have different ideas and backgrounds that ultimately shape the final outcomes of our client's projects. There really isn't anything much better than working as a team on a project and a client being so overjoyed with the outcome.
