If you peeked into your office what would you see? What would you hear?
You would hear deep belly laughs and ridiculous inside jokes. You would hear honest and vulnerable conversations about life, love, work, and all the messy pieces that come with that. You would hear daily encouragement. You would see infectious smiles and a healthy team.
In our office, we are incredibly lucky to not only be co - workers but also best friends.
We've heard it said that friends don't always make the best co - workers but co-workers can turn into some of your best friends. That's exactly how our team's friendship started, we were co - workers first at a previous workplace and that's where we learned to work so well together. As we collaborated together on projects, we gained respect and trust for one another. Renée and Jordan walked together weekly, and eventually, Kayla joined in. We got to know each other on a deeper level on those walks and quickly realized that we all had very similar goals, visions, and dreams.
Our friendship began to blossom and grow into a deep, beautiful sisterhood. It's the kind of friendship where we aren't afraid to call each other out, encourage one another to try new things, and support one another through the rainy days of life.
It's the kind of friendship that you never want to lose because it doesn't come around everyday.
But it is not always rosy.
There are frustrations that come with running a small business. It's not always glamorous. Things go wrong. Deals fall through. Each of us have hard days. But, no matter what life throws in our paths, no matter how many bad days we may have, we will be there for one another.
So, if you peeked into our office, you would see a healthy, happy, and honest team of best friends who are working to build the lives they've only dreamed about.
We firmly believe in women building one another up instead of tearing one another down. It's not a competition. It's not easy being a woman, we need each other.
Imagine what our world would look like if all women supported, cheered on, and came alongside another.
We would be unstoppable.
