We like to refer to these as website non-negotiables. Even though we say they are non-negotiable, there is no correct way to include all of these on your site. Home Page: People need small introductions to who they are working with. This is a great place to include links to some of our other non-negotiables or to even just place some of them.
About Us: Tell the people who you are. Personal connections go a very long way in marketing.
Services/Products: What are they on your site for? You do not have to list pricing if you do not want to. Some companies choose to and that is perfectly fine.
FAQ: If you are like the rest of us out here trying to run a company, you have been asked the same handful of questions at least a dozen times. This is where the FAQ section comes in handy. Most people do not acknowledge these sections on websites but it is helpful to have it listed.
Testimonials/Reviews: People love to read these and base their decisions on them.
Contact Us: Make sure people know how to get in touch with you if they have any questions or concerns.
Blogs: We personally believe in the power of blogging. Not only does it help with SEO but it also helps set you apart from the rest of your industry and allows you to position yourself as the expert in your field.
Press/Latest News/Hiring/Events: These all fall under one for us. Not everyone will have these on their site and those who do won’t necessarily have them on their site at all times.
Privacy Policy/Terms and Conditions: You should have both of these on your site and in links in the footer of every single page.
Sitemap: This takes everything from above and makes it easier to navigate between them all.
